Quando Atitudes se Tornam Formas

Artist Gervane de Paula seeks shelter for a new piece in the streets of Cuiabá, the geodesic center of South America, where he has lived and worked since 1977. Gervane creates from mass culture, departing from mass culture and the local landscape in constant expansion of media, materials, and attitudes. A member of the “80’s Generation”, his work contributes to the continuing rescaling of midwestern Brazilian art to critique and to the country’s sensible geography.
